| Description | Humans can achieve “intelligence” at a variety of levels. One can be book smart or street smart yet be stuck on an emotional roller coaster creating roadblocks for forward movement in one’s personal and professional life. This training will focus on defining emotional intelligence and resilience; benefits and components of emotional intelligence; elements/domains of emotional intelligence; building emotional intelligence and resilience.
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
-Define emotional intelligence
-Define resilience
-List benefits of improving emotional intelligence
-Identify components of emotional intelligence
-Discuss ways to improve one’s emotional intelligence
-Understand the relationship between emotional intelligence and resilience |

Counselors and Therapists(LMFT): This program is approved for 2.0 hours of continuing education credit.
