| Description | As the population of older adults continues to grow, healthcare professionals are increasingly caring for patients experiencing complex physical, cognitive, and social changes associated with aging. Understanding these changes is essential to providing effective, patient-centered care that promotes independence, safety, and quality of life. This program equips nurses and other healthcare professionals with the knowledge needed to recognize normal age-related changes across body systems, brain function, and social roles. Participants will explore practical strategies to support healthy aging, including lifestyle interventions, social engagement, and evidence-based approaches such as the Blue Zones philosophy. This course emphasizes actionable tools that help clinicians guide aging patients toward healthier, more fulfilling lives. |
