DescriptionChildren need to be safe in school to ensure they’re ready to learn. Several provisions are needed to create an environment that fosters happy, healthy learning, not the least of which is having a staff that’s prepared to act when medical emergencies arise. Emergency response training is beneficial to everyone and a necessity for medical personnel. Students may have medical issues that a school nurse might be aware of, but all school staff should be prepared to provide emergency first aid if necessary. With our help, you can enhance your school’s ability to provide exceptional care and education. This full-day Train the Trainer course is designed specifically for school nurses and medical support staff to allow them to train their teams. In Michigan, not every school has a nurse on campus. This program allows an experienced school nurse to train a team to respond to medical emergencies on site.
