Description | In this program, the learner will determine when to initiate the Rapid Response call and recognize the roles/responsibilities of the team members with the potential outcomes of the decompensating patient. It will assist in the quick recognition of the imminent warning signs of the decompensating patient with nursing care and medical management with the goal for the best outcome while attempting to prevent cardiac and/or respiratory arrest. Being a Rapid Response Nurse requires the knowledge and skill to assess, critically think, diagnose, implement and evaluate emergent care in the prevention of a code. |
