DescriptionThis course is designed to provide healthcare professionals with practical knowledge regarding the cardiac system, performing EKGs, and recognizing basic arrhythmias. Course content will include information on cardiac anatomy, physiology, and conduction system; the nuts and bolts of performing an EKG including proper lead placement for EKGs and cardiac monitors; rhythm interpretation, associated complications and early clinical recognition of potential cardiac problems.
